Per Maine's Governor all residents of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New Jersey & New York effective immediately may come to Maine to camp short or long term WITHOUT NEED FOR QUARANTINE or any other action as long as you are healthy & have not been in other states in the past 14 days! Furthermore, for ALL OTHER STATES effective June 26th, 2020 as an alternative to the 14 day quarantine ~
York Hospital Walk In Care in York,Maine has a rapid test and you get the results in 15 minutes. To make an appointment to take this test on your way into Maine go to www.yorkhospital.com/COVID-19-testing-info or call 207-351-2000. Cost for this test is only $25 and must be paid by credit card but receipt can be turned into your insurance company for reimbursement.
or simply receive a neagative result to a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your arrival in Maine (not 72 hours from the time the test was taken) for all adults in your camping party 18 and older and if results come back negative, simply bring proof of same to show us when you arrive. As a second alternative as of June 26, 2020 you can have the test taken as soon as you arrive in Maine but would need to stay in quarantine until proof of a negative test result is received (usually 2-3 days). Or lastly, stay in quarantine for full 14 days.
For long term guests such as seasonals from outside ME, NH, VT, NY, NJ, CT if coming from out of state or returning to Maine if you have not met one of the above exceptions you are required to quarantine inside your unit for 14 consecutive days - you can not leave the state once in the park or upon returning the 14 day quarantine starts over again. Initially you must bring supplies SUCH AS FOOD AND MEDS for 14 days with you, no one will be allowed into your unit beyond who lives there full time or simply provide us with negative test result upon arrival per above guidelines in lieu of quarantine. When in quarantine you are to remain in your unit except to go out in your yard, sit on your porch or by the fire, but in NO WAY may have contact with other people beyond who lives in your unit.
For the 2020 season there will be NO visitors allowed into the campground from any state for short term overnight customers.
For seasonals customer visitors only, guests must be from ME, NH, VT, NY, NJ or CT as long as they are healthy & not have been out of state other then 6 previously listed in past 14 days prior to visit and MUST stop at office to sign paperwork before going to visit prior to any and all visits (including repeats).
During the 2020 season we will only be accepting fully self contained units. Thus, no tents or pop ups unless you are camping with others who will let you use their facilities. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not come to our park for your safety and others.
Stay tuned for more updates.....
